Abstract
Objective:To identify the expression characteristics of testis-specific BAG-like protein (TSBAG) in mice. Methods:Mouse Whole Genome Genechip was used to compare the expression profile of mouse testis in different postnatal days.Structure characteristics of the selected genes were analyzed with various bioinformatic tools.Tissue distribution of the testis-specific genes in mice was analyzed by RT-PCR.Results:TSB,4G,a novel testis-specific gene with differential expression in the developmental stages of testis was identified. The full length cDNA is 891 bp,containing an open reading frame of 702 bp which encodes a putative protein of 233 amino acids. Cellular mapping prediction of TSBA G indicated that its protein would be expressed in nuclear of cells. One putative domain was BAG domain predicted at protein 8-62.RT-PCR analysis revealed that TSBAG mRNA was specifically expressed in mouse testis, and also showed expression of TSBA G mRNA in mouse testis was developmental stage- dependent. Conclusion:TSBAG is a novel testis-specific gene with developmental stage-dependent expressions in mice.
