Analysis of Agricultural Trade Flows between China and Australia

China and Australia are both countries of agricultural production, and the agricultural trade between the two countries has developed rapidly. Based on the analysis of the bilateral trade status in agricultural products between China and Australia, and by using revealed comparative advantage indices, trade complementarity indices, intra-industry trade indices for China and Australia's comparative advantages of national agricultural products, trade competitiveness, trade complementarity, and the extent of intra-industry trade, the paper concludes that the competition of agricultural products between China and Australia is not strong, and that there are few categories of agricultural products which are competitive towards each other. The bilateral agricultural trade between them is mainly complementary.
