Abstract

Objective To explore one reasonable pattern for ALT testing of blood donors in blood station. Methods Using different reagents and instruments to detect serum ALT of the voluntary blood donors by ratemethod;HBsAg,anti-TP and anti-HIV were also determined and analyzed for their relativity with ALT.Results Both biochemical analyzers had good accuracy and precision.Three kinds of ALT reagents could replace each other. The ALT elimination rate dropped from 5.55% to 1.99% by using ECOM-F 6124 semi-automatic biochemical analyzer before donating blood. The results of HBsAg,anti-TP and anti-HIV had no significant difference in terms of the qualifiers and disqualifiers in ALT test. Conclusion The current pattern of ALT detection is not useful to blood safety and cost much more,so a wide investigation for ALT testing should be conducted and a more reasonable pattern and the upper limit of ALT detecting should be reestablished.
