Abstract
Songs and dances of Tujia Nationality contain umpteen cultural functions that have been researched by many scholars.The writer of this article chooses to discuss two of the cultural functions from a different angle: the function as an inheriting and inculcating tool and the function as a cultural reservation,hoping to make her due contributions to discovering and searching the cultural values of the songs and dances of Tujia nationality.
