Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of atorvastatin in treating hyperlipidemia patients. Methods:Seventy patients with hyperlipidemia were treated with atorvastatin at the dose of 10 mg daily for three months. To observe blood lipid, liver function and kidney function before and after the treat ment of three months, including the side effect. Results:After the treat ment of three months, serumcholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),lowdensity lipo-protein cholesterol(LDL-C)were reduced, the difference was significant(P0.05).The levels of high density lipo-protein cholesterol(HDL-C)was raised up.The difference was also significant(P0.05).The total efficiency rate of TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C was 84.28 %、74.6 %、80 % and 62.26 %.There were little side effects. Conclusions :Atorvastatinis safe and effective in treat ment of hyperlipidemia.
