Analysis on Teachers' Professional Skills Training of Normal College Students in Elementary English Education

With the further advance of our country's new curriculum reform, our elementary English education has achieved gratifying results. To meet the development needs, it appears more and more important to improve teachers' professional skills of normal college students in elementary English education, thus people put forward higher requirements in teachers' professional skills training. According to the present problems in teachers' professional skills training in normal colleges, this paper talks about how to improve teachers' professional skills training, using the standard of English new curriculum as guidance and updating the concept of modern education. The paper also points out the normal colleges should innovate teaching contents, optimize course settings, combine inside classroom practice with outside practice, specify skills assessment standards and build up multi-cultivating evaluation system.
