Enteral Nutrition in Patients with Severe Acute Pancreatitis

Objective To study the nutritional support effect of enteral nutrition in patients with severe pancreatitis.Methods 46patients with SAP were randomly divided into 2 groups,Conventional treatment group of 23 cases,23 cases in EN group.Clinical prognosis and APACHE II score,serum albumin,and prealbumin changes of patients between the two groups were compared.Results Conventional treatment cured 19 cases of death in 4 cases,EN group cured 22 cases,1 death.EN group APACHE II score change significantly greater than conventional treatment group(P0.05),Serum albumin and albumin were higher than before the conventional treatment group.Conclusion EN treatment of severe pancreatitis is very important for reducing complications and improving the cure rate.
