Abstract
There are three main semi-closed gulfs,Xiangshan gulf Sanmen gulf and Leqing gulf in Zhejiang Province.Exploitation of resources must follow with two principles:(a)comprehensive development by exploitation of superiority resources;and (b)ecological economy.To sustain exploitation of Tidal flat resources in gulf areas,some suggestions are put forward:(a)sustainable development of seawater aquiculture;(b)appropriately enclose high tidal flat part which are concentrated in distribution,and control actions of stopping up branching gulfs for fresh water storage;(c)devote major effort to exploiting fresh water resources in the surrounding gulfs;and (e)prevent pollution and protect gulf environments relating to seawater aquiculture and shellfish breeding base.
