Effect of nursing intervention on depression and anxiety of stroke patients treated by hyperbaric oxygen

Abstract
Objective To discuss effect of nursing intervention on depression and anxiety of stroke patients treated by hyperbaric oxygen.Methods Selected 64 cases with stroke treated by HPO from Jun 2010 to May 2012,were devided into intervention group and control group(each 32 cases).Control received normal nursing,and intervention group received nursing intervention based on that.Depression and anxiety score were compared.Results HAMD,HAMA,depressive emotion,Somatic anxiety,NIHSS score of two groups had significant difference between after intervention and before intervention(P 0.01).And intervention group improved more than control group(P 0.01).Conclusion Nursing intervention can improve depression and anxiety of stroke patients treated by hyperbaric oxygen,promote recovery.
