Abstract
The study of Modernization evolved from the study of the origin of European capitalism in 19th century. Along with various periods of the development of the Modernization, there came theories of Classical Modernization, Subsequent Modernization and Post-Modernization. The theories of the Modernization not only reflect people’s different perspectives on the history, reality and practice of Modernization, but also the continuous transformation of the concept of the historical development. This study will contribute to the establishment of the scientific concept of historical developments and the reform in the study of world history.
