Abstract
Based on the survey on wetland bird species in the Kasha Lake, the results show that there are 40 speices in the total belonging to 9 orders, 14 families. Most of them are summer residents and travellers. including 3 species of national first-class protected birds, 2 species second-classs, 3 species provincial protected birds; 5 species of oriental region, 12 of palaearctic region, 22 of widespread and 1 of peculiar. In addition, the diversity index of wetland birds in the region was 4.529 and evenness index, 0.8504
