Abstract
From June to August 2006,a survey on the diversity and structure of summer avian community was conducted in Nanjishan Wetland Nature Reserve. The results showed that there were 55 species in total belonging to 12 orders,26 families, including 25 summer migrants,29 residents and 1 traveler.Twenty-four species of the widespread are dominant, but the oriental and palaearctic species were respectively 21 and 10.In addition, the diversity and the evenness indexes in wetland birds were 2.92 and 0.76,respectively.
