East Asia Community:Path,Mechanism,and Challenge

East Asia Community has been put on agenda based on the systematic reason of East Asian financial crisis.It is a political proposal of regional cooperation,however,East Asia Community represents a political intent of promoting economic growth,which is a totally different path from European Union.First of all,Europeanism,based on the core idea of European,is the initial motive for the regional communitization.East Asia economic community lacks this subject motive like Europe,which is one difference based on regional structure.Second,compared with European Union,East Asia community's promotional system 10+3model is not equipped with common political basis,and not legally binding.Third,Cold War has been withdrawn from Europe,however,it is still aggressive in East Asia,which makes Asianism become a hard barrier in East Asia communitization.Finally,this thesis points out that FTA can be used to promote East Asian institutional construction,which could in turn help in the progress of East Asian communitization and build East Asian common economic and political mechanism.
