Abstract

Objective To study the possible diversity of serum lipoprotein(a)level in patients with coronary heart disease, and analyze the significance of LP(a)detection. Methods 212 patients who were suspected coronary heart disease(CHD)were studied. All patients were detected serum LP(a)and underwent coronary arteriography(CAG).Based on the results of CAG,patients were divided into non-CHD group and CHD group. Then the CHD group was classified according to the number of coronary artery with stenosis and different treatment of CHD.The diversity of LP(a)levels was analyzed at last. Results Compared with non-CHD patients, the level of LP(a)in CHD patients was significantly increased(P0.01).The level of Lp(a)increased with the number of damaged coronary(P0.05 or P0.01).Compared with non-CHD patients, the levels of LP(a)in different treatment groups were rised(P0.05 or P0.01).Conclusions an independent risk factor for CHD,the level of LP(a)is relevant to the damaged degree of coronary, and provide a basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of CHD.
