Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship between serum lipoprotein(a) level and coronary heart disease. Methods: A total of 314 patients who were suspected coronary heart disease(CHD) were studied. They were divided into control group and CHD group based on the results of coronary angiography(CAG).Then the CHD group was classified according to the number of coronary artery with stenosis. The serum LP(a) levels of all the patients were detected and analyzed. Results: Compared with the control group, the level of serum LP(a) in the CHD group was significantly higher(P0.001).The level of LP(a) increased with the number of damaged coronary artery. Conclusions: As an independent risk factor for CHD,the level of serum LP(a) is positively correlated with the damage degree of coronary arteries.
