Abstract
The RP-HPLC method for the determination of baicalin and berberine hydrochloride in Angong Niuhuangcapsules was established. A Jasco C18 column was used with the mobile phase of methanol- water-acetic acid-triethylamine(35∶61∶4∶0.2) at the detection wavelength of 283nm. The calibration curves of baicalin and berberine hydrochlo-ride were linear in the ranges of 0.08 - 3.2 mg and 0.08 - 0.8mg, respectively.
