Abstract

With the theory of ecological footprint and analytical method, the sustainable development of Helinge'r was evaluated. The research showed the secondary and third industry level of Helinge'r was low.As a result, the per capita ecological deficit became bigger and bigger from 1997 to 2007.The demands to ecological service of Helinge'r were beyond the carrying capacity;from the change of ecological footprint on GDP,the expenditure of Helinger's per ten thousand GDP declined yearly.Cultivate land and fossil energy land accounts for a large in ecological footprint, which is the most important component of ecological footprint.
