Abstract

The paper shows the requirements to the materials as inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis, and expatiates the applications of the metal oxide materials and cermet materials as inert anodes in the pilot cells or industry cells. The influences of the additives to the characters of inert anodes are also illuminated in the paper.
