Abstract
Objective To establish a method for detection of selenium in water sample. Methods The method of digestion with nitric acid-hydrogen peroxide was used. Results The calibration curve for selenium was 0-100 μg/L, r=0.999 2, detection limit 0.42 μg/L and the recovery of standard addition 98.9% to 102.3%. Conclusion This method is simple, rapid, sensitive and of accurate, the method has been applied to the sample analysis with satisfactory results.
