Abstract

To discuss the toxicity influence of liquid formaldehyde on mice liver,36 male mice were randomly divided into three poisoned groups and one control groups(9 mice per group). The mouse were infected liquid formaldehyde with different concentration intraperitoneally at 10:00 everyday at 0.1 mL/each mice. After 10,20 and 30 day,3 mouse were killed in each group. The pathological changes in liver were estimated through gross necropsy and microscope, the visceral index of mice liver and the survival rate of hepatocytes in vitro were detected.Compared with the control, there were pathological changes in the livers of mice at experiment groups, including spot or focal necrosis on liver's surface, swelling hepatocytes, loose and degenerated cytoplasm, lower the visceral index and survival rate of hepatocytes. It shows formaldehyde has toxicity on the liver cell of male mice, and the toxicity influence and pathological changes is more obvious with dose increase and time extension.
