Abstract

Hu Shi’s most characteristic and valuable education thought and practice could be summed up as following: advocate of education and academy independence,popularity of modern education science,introduction of modern education concept, impelling educational system and the educational organization reform positively. His education thoughts and practice still have the practical significance today.
