Abstract
This experiment was conducted to study the effects of compound Lactobacillus preparation on laying performance, immune function and cecal microflora of layer breeders at brooding period. Two hundred and eighty-eight 1-day-age layer breeders were selected and divided into four groups with six replicates per group were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.05%,0.10% and 0.20% compound Lactobacillus preparation respectively. The experiment lasted for 30 days. The results showed that supplementation of Lactobacillus preparation could increase daily gain and reduce feed conversion ratio. The suitable supplementtion level of compound Lactobacillus preparation was 0.1%. Supplementation of Lactobacillus preparation could significantly increase the apparent digestibility of crude protein (P0.05),but there were no significant effects on the apparent digestibility of calcium and phosphorus(P0.05);Supplementation of 0.05% and 0.1% compound Lactobacillus preparation could increase antibody titers against avian influenza virus and Newcastle disease virus. The supplementation of compound Lactobacillus preparation cound decrease the number of Escherichia coli and Clostridium perfringens(P0.05),and significantly increase the number of lactic acid bacteria in caecum and Bifidobacterium(P0.05).
