The Interaction Thoughts on Gymnastics Teaching Status in Primary School and Middle School and Reform of Gymnastics Course in Normal Universities

By investigating and analyzing on the gymnastics teaching status in primary school and middle school, the authors tend to figure out the practical demands and adjustment intents of teaching contents in primary school and middle school, also the disadvantages which affect teaching as well. In this essay, the authors conduct analyzing arguments between the necessity of re-establishing gymnastics course in P.E. education major and the reform status based on the results of investigation and analysis, combining with the characteristics of college courses and the developing tendency of reform. The final aim is to conceive an idea of establishing three kinds of branch courses of gymnastics, which are relatively independent, specifically aimed, systemically integrated teaching courses.
