The Status Quo and Reform Study on the Required Gymnastics Course Teaching Content of Sports Education Major in Universities and Colleges

With the methods of literature review,investigation and mathematical statistics,this paper made investigation and analysis on the teaching content of required gymnastics course in universities and colleges' sports education major,and the status quo of gymnastics teaching in primary and middle schools' P.E.class.The result shows the problems of the gymnastics teaching content in sports education major,such as outdated knowledge and the separation between social development and the gymnastics teaching practice in primary and middle school.Therefore,this paper makes overall optimization design on the gymnastics teaching content for universities' sports educaiton major and provides theoretical reference for universities gymnastics teaching reform,from the aspect of theory teaching,practice teaching and ability training.
