Abstract
A method for the determination of total selenium in selenium-enriched soils collected from Enshi district was developed by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry(HG-AFS).The effects of experimental conditions on the Se fluorescence intensity were investigated and optimized.Under the optimal work conditions, the detection limit of selenium for this method was 0.04μg/L,and the linear range was 0.12—80μg/L,while the relative standard derivation was 0.87%.The contents of total selenium in selenium-enriched soils were from 3.449μg/g to 115.070μg/g with the recovery rate of 97.8%—101.1%.This method was proved to be simple, sensitive, accurate and repeatable, and suitable to the determination of total selenium in selenium-enriched soils.
