Idea of creativity and the principle of creativity in neo-Confucianism

Producing and reproducing(creativity)is not only a philosophical exposition of the cosmic state, but also the inherent nature of thechangeitself.All of those arguments fromthe greatest virtue of Heaven and Earth is producingto the attribute ofsimplicity of Yito thatthe Yang line returning shows the heart of heaven and earth in the hexagram of Fu(returning)are threaded with the same idea ofproducing.Ba- sing on predecessor's achievements and inflating new ideas,neo-Confucian scholars expanded that the heart of heaven and earth is the synthesis of the tranquility and motions as well as the unity between heaven—earth's producing quality and the circulation of benevolence.From the tranquility as substance to the motions as func- tion,from the beginning of motion to the motive of motion,even though there are different manifestations, each phenomenon is penetrated with the principle ofcreativity.
