Abstract

OBJECTIVE To compare the extraction percentage and the mass fraction of solanesol extracted by different ways from tobacco leaves and separate the extractives.METHODS Solanesol from tobacco leaves was extracted by SFE(supercritical carbon dioxide extraction),ultrasonic extraction and solvent extraction. And the extractives were separated by column chromatography and crystallization. The extraction percentage and the content of solanesol was determined by HPLC(high performance liquid chromatography).RESULTS SFE outstripped ultrasonic extraction and solvent extraction. The extraction percentage of solanesol by SFE was 94.5%,the mass fraction was 33.8% and the mass fraction of purified sample was 93.4%.CONCLUSION The purity coefficient and yield of solanesol extracted by SFE and separated by column chromatograph were high.
