Status and Future for Informationization of Manufacturing Industry

Abstract

In this paper, it is first discussed the opportunities faced by the manufacturing industry in China and then moved to presenting the essentials of informationization of manufacture. It is pointed out that the significance of informationization is information share, continuous flow and collaboration, with aims at minimizing waste and increasing efficiency so as to provide our manufacturing industry with competence. It also explores the development of digital products and informational management of enterprise from the view of operation and business flow process in an enterprise. Proposals are made for the way of achieving informationization for China manufacturing enterprises.
