Abstract

The paper introduces the importance and necessity for developing informationization of manufacturing industry and advanced manufacturing technology, as well as the status and prosperity for the informationization of manufacturing industry and advanced manufacturing technology at home and abroad. It also presents how informationization of manufacturing industry drives the development of the advanced manufacturing technology and the problems to be dealt with in the process of informationization of manufacturing industry in our country.
