Abstract

Objective To study the method and effect of surgical treatment of the patients with severe craniocerebral injury. Methods The clinical data of 63 cases patients with severe craniocerebral injury who were treated with surgical treatment in our hospital from 2001 to 2009 were analyzed retrospectively. And the 63 cases patients with severe craniocerebral injury were the control group who were treated conserva-tively.The treatment group were treated with bone flap decompression and evacuation of hematoma, and the control group were treated conser-vatively.Then the efficacy and prognosis of the two groups were compared. Results The survival numbers of treatment group was 39 cases, which 22 cases had good recovery,11 cases had moderate disability,6 cases severe deficits and the other 11 cases died. The efficacy of treat-ment group were better than that of control group, there were significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion The complex treatment measures Mainly wth surgical treatment according to the situation of patients is important for increasing survival rate of severe craniocerebral injury and improving prognosis.
