On the Historical Memory of Diaspora Ethnic and Its Acceptance

Historical memory of a nationality or ethnic group is shared by all the group members. It can help them to obtain social acceptance and prove its ethnic value. Based on Toni Morrison's works,this paper analyzes the historical memory of diaspora black people and advocates that in order to get national acceptance,they should maintain their own ethnic characteristics and try to live in harmony with the mainstream culture.
