Factors Affect Shanghai Residents to Select Community Health Service Center

Objective To investigate the factors that affect the first choice of Shanghai residents for the community health service center,and provide further evidence for the implement of General Practitioners System in Shanghai.Methods A convenience sampling method was used to survey the intentions of residents for their first diagnosis.2400 people from three districts were enrolled in this study with 2081(86.71%) valid questionnaires.Results Gender,retired status,educational level,medical insurance,physical examination,distance,had the statistics significant for the residents to choose convenience sampling as their first diagnosis(P0.05).Conclusion The first choice of hospital is the basis of improving the system of Shanghai's family physician.
