Abstract

During the New Deal of Late Qing Dynasty,Yuan Shikai exercised the power and responsibility of Zhili governor,and implemented the New Deal.Yuan initiated to set up teacher education vigorously.Since then,teacher education in Zhili in Late Qing Dynasty made great breakthrough,and it developed faster than other provinces of China.Zhili preliminarily set foot on the road of educational modernization.
