On Chen San-li's Academic Thought and Features

As a famous poet and scholar in modern history of literature,Chen San-li's position in the Hundred-Days Reform and in the history of Chinese Poetry has already been studied by the academic cycle.However,his academic thought has less been attended.He had unique opinion and deep reflection in the study of classics,the exponents of the various schools of thought during the period from pre-Qin times to the early years of the Han Dynasty,Confucian school of idealist philosophy of the Song and Ming dynasties represented by Chen Hao and Zhu Xi,the study of Yang and the study of history.His academic thought has not only influenced his cultural state of mind and his political practice,but also objectively reflected the modern scholar-bureaucrat's knowledge,cultural tendency and political pursuit,which has been regarded as a precious resource of humanist thought in modern history.
