Abstract

The extraction technology of yellow pigment from Carthamine were studied in this paper. With hydroxy safflor yellow A as the standard, water is chosen as the extracting agent by comparison of the extracting effects between the several dissolvents. The effects on yield, such as the temperature, extracting time, extracting times and the weight ratio of water to Carthamus yellow are examined. The preferential extracting conditions were obtained by orthogonal experiments:the temperature was 60 ℃;extraction time was 50 minutes;extraction times was 4;the weight ratio of water to Carthamus yellow was 1∶100(g /mL).
