The Impact of Psychological Intervention On The Psychology And The Life Quality During Rehabiliatation of Schizophrenia

Objective To investigate the effect of psychological intervention in the improvement of psychology and life quality of schizophrenic patients.Methods 60 during rehabiliatation of schizophrenia were randomly divided into two groups(each n= 30).Patients in the control group were given of routine antipsychotic drugs,while patients in the intervention group were given of psychological intervention based on routine antipsychotic drugs with the contents of:①psychological nursing.②Instructions on medication.③Intervention of family atmosphere.④Instruction on patients about enhancing social function.The IPROS,SAS,SDS and GQOLI were evaluated and compared between the two groups.Results 4 weeks later,the scores of IPROS,SAS and SDS in psychological intervention group were remarkably lower than grouping(P0.01),while there was no significant in control group(P0.05).4 weeks later,The intervention group showed significantly lower than the control group in scores of IPROS,SAS and SDS(P 0.01).The intervention group showed significantly lower than the control group in three dimensions'score of functions of body,psychology and society on GQOLI(P0.05),There were no significant difference between the two groups in material life dimension(P0.05).Conclusion Psychological intervention was helpful to the improvement of psychology and improving life quality and enhancing social function in schizophrenics.
