Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP) for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods:207 cases BPH patients who underwent TURP were retrospective analyzed. Results:The patients were safely back ward. Conclusion:with preoperative, that residual urine volume(RUV), maximum urinary retention rate(Qmax), quality of life scores(QOL) and international prostate symptom score(IPSS) showed statistically significant differences(P 0.05 or P 0.01) in postoperative follow-up of 3 months after TURP. Conclusion TURP is a safe and effective surgical method for the treatment of BPH.
