Clinical observation of "Xiezhuo Jiangsuan Decoction" in treating uric acid nephropathy

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiezhuo Jiangsuan Decoction in the treatment of uric acid nephropathy.Methods Seventy-four subjects were randomized into two groups: control group in which 37 cases were treated with Allopurinol and treatment group in which 37 cases were treated with Allopurinol and Xiezhuo Jiangsuan Decoction,with a course of eight weeks.Results The clinical efficacy was better in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05);after treatment,the contents of UA,Scr,BUN and 24 h urinary protein were lowered in both groups(P0.05),with lower contents in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Xiezhuo Jiangsuan Decoction is effective to reduce uric acid and improve kidney functions in the treatment of uric acid nephropathy.
