Clinical Observations on Treatment of Cervical Vertigo by Electroacupuncture plus Traction

Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy of electroacupuncture plus traction for treating cervical vertigo.Methods One hundred and ninety-two patients were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups.The cure rates and effective rates were compared.Results and Conclusion The cure rate and effective rate were(80.21%) and(95.73%),respectively,in the electroacupuncture plus traction group and(29.17%) and(15.0%),respectively,in the Western medicine control group.A statistical analysis showed a significant difference, indicating that electroacupuncture plus traction has clinically a good curative effect on cervical vertigo.
