Clinical Observations on Electroacupuncture plus Sitting-position Pulling and Stretching Reduction Manipulation for the Treatment of Cervical Vertigo

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture plus sitting-position pulling and stretching reduction manipulation in treating cervical vertigo.Method One hundred and twenty patients meeting the diagnosis criteria were randomly allocated to observation and control groups.The observation group received electroacupuncture plus sitting-position pulling and stretching reduction manipulation and the control group,medication.The therapeutic effects and a pre-/post-treatment difference in cervical spinal curvature were observed in the two groups.Result The total efficacy rate was 95.0% in the observation group and 78.3% in the control group.The total efficacy rate was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture plus sitting-position pulling and stretching reduction manipulation can not only effectively relieve the clinical symptoms but also properly correct cervical spinal curvature in patients with cervical vertigo.
