Abstract
Textual research emerged from the middle Ming dynasty and developed till the Qing dynasty Qian-Long Period.The period experienced two stages:(1) from broad finding to truth finding;in Ming dynasty textual research focus on broad knowledge to show the general public,not enough on truth seeking.When the time turns into Qing dynasty,scholars began to scorn the superficial Ming scholars,and turn to seeking true from the facts.(2) from history seeking to truth seeking;in Qing dynasty there were two schools of academics: Wu School and Wan School.Wu School was earlier than Wan School.Wu emphasizes history,while Wan emphasizes seeking true from the facts.
