Abstract
During the transitions of dynasties, there were often different choices made by the Confucianism to face the changes. Take Gui Zhuang, a diehard of Ming Dynasty as an example, in his wide association with his company, there were the turncoat officials of early Qing Dynasty, the aides and staff of high officials, the wandering scholars and the first generation of officials of the Qing Dynasty as well. The thesis explores the way Confucianism in the early Qing dynasty chose their company. It lays its focus on the overall cultural situation in the transition of Ming Dynasty and Qing dynasty.
