Treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome with nourishing kidney and resolving phlegm combined with blood-activating

[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of nourishing kidney and resolving phlegm accompanied with blood-activating method in treating polycystic ovary syndrome. [Methods] Patients were randomly divided into two group,33 cases in treatment group A and 35 in treatment group B. Treatment group A will be treated with kidney nourishment,phlegm-resolving orally once a day; while the group B with Spironolactone,20mg a day. Both groups will be treated for 3 months. Observation of clinical symptoms was conducted on the situation,testosterone(T) and luteinizing hormone (LH) changes. [Results] Compared with group A,the group B was better in improv-ing the clinical symptoms than group A with significant difference (P0.05); The T values decreased after treatment,and the difference with pre-treatment group was significant (P0.05); The LH values after treatment was more significantly decreased in treatment group than the control group with a significant difference(P0.05). [Conclusion] Kidney nourishment,phlegm-resolving accompanied by traditional Chinese medicine treatment in polycystic ovary have clear effect and was worthy to be popularized.
