Abstract
In order to analyze whole genome of the different American genotype porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV),apair of specific primer were designed to amplify two kinds of PRRSV strain NSP2genes.RT-PCR test results indicated that the amplified fragments of mutant and classical strains were 342bp and 432bp.The method was rapid, specific, sensitive, repeatabe, and can be used to identify mutant and classical strains of American genotype PRRSV at the same time. The clinical application in the detection of 16samples showed that the positive rate of PRRSV was 37.5%,highly pathogenic characteristics of variant strains accounted for 83.3%of the total strains.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
