Abstract

Objective: To observe the efficacy of MEBO in treating wounds after excision of anal fissure. Method:82 cases of this disease were treated locally after operation with MEBO gauze. Bleeding was stopped by pressure. After 24 hours, MEBO gauze was removed and then MEBO was applied every 8 hours until the wounds healed. Result:After MEBO treatment, no bleeding and no infection happened in the wounds. After wound healing, no anal stenosis happened. MEBO treatment is not painful. The wound healing time is short. Conclusion: MEBO is an ideal remedy for treating wounds after excision of anal fissure.
