Abstract

Objective To probe into the variation of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) of the depressed patients as well as the normal control group in the basic and cognitive state. Methods SPECT imaging was performed in 9 patients with the depression disorder diagnosed with ICD-10 or BECK, and 9 cases of age matched normal controls for comparison. All subjects performed cognitive task in the first day. The third day is basic. Situation of rCBF in depression and control group were analyzed by SPM2 software. Results Compared with the basic state, in the cognitive state the blood flow of normal subjects in superior frontal gyrus, right frontal lobe and BA 6 were significantly increased, and the rCBF of temporal, superior temporal gyrus were significantly decreased. ②Compared with the basic state, in the cognitive state the blood flow of callosal gyrus and putamen were increased, and parahippocampal and posterior cingulate were decreased in depression. Conclusion SPM analysis showed that significant rCBF change in normal and depression related to clinical diagnosis.
