Abstract

Objective:To analyze the regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF) alternations in patients with anxiety disorder, comparing with normal subjects using statistical parametric mapping.Methods:99mTc ECD-brain SPECT imaging were performed in 19 anxiety disorder patients(ADP) diagnosed with CCMD 2 or ICD 10,and 23 cases with age matched normal controls for comparison.Situation of rCBF in ADP was analyzed by SPM method under the condition of increased and decreased perfusion. Results:The rCBF of bilateral temporal, superior frontal gyrus and callosal gyrus were significantly decreased in the anxiety group, and the rCBF of precentral gyrus, frontal lobe orbital part, left basal ganglia was significantly increased(P0 05).Conclusion:SPM analysis showed that significant rCBF change in anxiety disorder patients and related to disease pathophysiology.
