Abstract

Objective This paper has studied the effects of Curcumin on the growth of human renal cancer line 786-О cells and the cell cycle change in vitro,for renal carcinoma supply theory.Methods MTT assay and flow cytometry were applied to detect the proliferation suppressing rate of 786-O cell and the change and apoptosis rate of cell cyclephases. Results The inhibition of curcumin on 786-O cell was shown in the dose-dependent(F=6207.813,P0.01) and time-dependent(F=1210.386,P0.01).By flow cytometry analyse,cells increased in G1 phase,cells decreased in S phase,and cells increased correspondingly in G2/M phase.Conclusions Curcumin can suppress 786-O cell proliferation,hold back cell course from G1 to S,and accelerate 786-O cell apoptosis.
