Abstract

Culture is one of the very foundations for Chinese culture.17th CPC National Congress has put forward to build up the soft power of Chinese culture to support China's development and enhance its overall strength and competitiveness.However,the development of soft power is still lagged behind,though China has made great achievements in its hard power because of the policy of reform and opening-up.This paper has discussed the significance and paths to push forward the cultural development and to build up the soft power of Chinese culture.
