Abstract
Objective To isolate the chemical constituents and elucidate their structures from the involucre of Castanea mollissima Blume.Methods The compounds were isolated by chromatogrammphy on silica gel columns and recrystallizing methods.NMR and TLC were employed for the structural identification.Results Nine compounds were obtained and elucidated as:5-hydroxymethylfurfural(1),gallic acid(2),p-hydroxy-benzoic acid(3),hydroquinone(4),ergost-6,22-diene-3β,5α,8α-triol(5),shikimic acid(6),stigmast-4-en-6β-ol-3-one(7),ganschisandrin(8),oleanolic acid(9),respectively.Conclusions Compounds 79 are isolated from Castanea genus for the first time,and compound 6 is obtained from this plant for the first time.
